Do I Need to Design a Flag, Then?

If I had a flag, I would plant it on this blog to claim it. "For Walnut and geekery!"

In other news, congratulations to The Liveaboard, winner of the little shaving thingamajiggy! Send me an email at cationdesignsblog [at] gmail.com with your address so that I can send it your way.

Lastly, if you haven't voted on your favorite vibrantly-colored stashbusting project, you've still got a day to do so! Everyone gets one vote, and you need to click on the "vote" button above the project of your choice. Incidentally, don't vote for me! I only put my link in as an example.

And just so this post isn't totally pictureless, here's what my rough draft and transfer for Elaine's ketubah look like:

Apologies for the terrible lighting...it was a dark and stormy night.

  1. I've noticed a few of my fellow sewing bloggers have claimed their blog on blog lovin' . I am curious about the purpose of doing so. Do you think it is something all bloggers should do?

    1. I don't know if it's something you *have* to do, but since Google Reader is going defunct, and a lot of people now use Bloglovin' to read blogs, having your blog "claimed" makes it possible for you to track your stats and followers. Even if you don't claim it, people can still follow your blog through that platform, but you just won't get the information.

Thank you for taking the time to tell me your thoughts! I appreciate reading them and I try to reply to most, if not all, comments, especially when they are questions. I ask that you keep your comments polite, and if you're a spammer, don't bother because your comment will just be deleted! Also, if you're commenting on a post that's more than two weeks old, it will be moderated.
